Maple Dijon Dressing


2 tsp. Dijon Mustard

2 T. Maple Syrup

Juice from 1/2 a lemon

Splash of Apple Cider Vinegar

1/4 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1/2 shallot sliced (optional)

Salt & Pepper to taste


Put all ingredients in a jar and shake, or the bottom of your salad bowl (before adding greens) and whisk. Adjust flavors for your it sweeter, add more syrup. Like it more mustardy, add a little more!

Use this as a foundation recipe, and make it your own. You can add fresh herbs, minced garlic or even crushed red pepper. Experiment and get creative!

Goes great with Kale, arugula, and spinach.
