What do I do as a Holistic Health Coach?
Essentially, I am like a personal trainer, only on the food and lifestyle side of life. We can meet at your house or at Taspen's Organics located in Conifer, CO. And, guess what? I'm also available by phone or skype! So, even if you don't live in these awesome mountains I call home, I can still support you in your wellness journey wherever you are!
I always meet you where you’re at. There’s no vegan, paleo or vegetarian requirement. We’re simply working together to discover what makes you feel good in your BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT!
The real star of a health coaching session or program is the gift that keeps on giving; A FOUNDATION OF WHOLE FOOD EDUCATION. I share tons of information, handouts, recipes and cooking techniques to help you cook simple, quick and healthy meals for the rest of your life. We talk about ingredients, label reading, proper kitchen utensils, cooking techniques, flavor, texture...and I could go on and on. IT'S JUST SO MUCH FUN!
As a client of mine, you will set goals – SMART goals. That’s Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Time-Bound goals. And, I will help you reach those goals through support, encouragement, education and holding you accountable.
At the end of each session, I will give you fun and interesting homework or assignments to help you work towards your goals.
What does a session with me look like?
You’re the leader! Of course, I have specific information, skills and techniques to share with you based on your current life snapshot and your NEW and EXCITING GOALS, but ultimately this is all about YOU! I follow your lead and am able to understand where you need the most support.
During each session you will share what’s new and good, I will give you information and recipes about a specific type of whole food or even a lifestyle suggestion, you will discuss challenges, and I will assign homework that supports your unique goals.
Sometimes we cook a meal, sometimes we do a taste test and other times we use our five senses to explore a new ingredient.
