Holiday Rally Day #20: A Holiday Journal Prompt

Today I wanted to take a time out from organizing, thinking, running around like crazy, overthinking, and planning to really focus in on the JOY of the holidays.

We often get sucked into the stresses of the holidays and forget to sink in to the opportunities for joy, family, celebration, happiness, reminiscing, etc.

Your journal prompt today is to write about your favorite memories that surround the holidays. What do you remember about your childhood celebrations? What traditions do you love to teach your kids? How do you feel when you think of these memories? Use your senses – what does the house smell like? What does your favorite treat taste like? Can you feel the softness of a special blanket or even a hug from someone special?

Escape the stress today and take a moment to wrap yourself in all the love, gratitude and heart-explosions of Christmas.
