Holiday Rally Day #10: Friend Check
When is the last time you checked in with your friends?
It’s been hard to keep track of my friendships since marriage, kids, life, and now the Pandemic makes it even harder – even the ones who live next door and in the same town.
Holiday Rally Day #9: Just Jump
Some days I’m totally stuck and can’t get out of a rut…this has been especially noticeable during the lovely 2020. I’m sure you can relate.
What I’ve noticed is that I want to get out and do the fun things, but there are often challenges (head junk) and roadblocks (fear) and hurdles (schedules) and walls (guilt) that prevent me from Just Jumping. I tend to overthink and then freeze, walking away from the jump feeling defeated, pissed off and disappointed in myself.
Holiday Rally Day #8: Keep It Fresh Recipe Round-up
It’s time for a recipe round up because I need a little fresh inspo and I’m betting you do, too!
I’m looking for some winter salads and meals that especially feel fun and festive, but also incorporate crisp flavors so I don’t start jumping off the wagon too soon.
Holiday Rally Day #7: Monday Music
Sometimes I don’t even realize how much music effects my mood and productivity. I use it so often to set the tone or switch up a vibe that I admit I take it for granted. I’m dedicating today’s post to my gratitude for music!
Holiday Rally Day #6: List Journaling
For me, a big part of journaling is to brain dump.
I’m like a computer with way too many windows open on my browser. What happens to your computer when you have too many windows open? It starts to run slower, process slower, glitch out, and make you angry, right?!
I feel that journaling has the effect of closing some of my open windows in order to create optimization.
Holiday Rally Day #5: Journal to Heal
I’ve decided that the weekend Rally Days are going to be journal prompt days. I feel there’s a little more space on the weekends for introspective, self love and self exploration.
Holiday Rally Day #4: Elixirs
You may or may not have noticed the New Kid in Town…
Elixirs!
Elixirs are a nod to times of old when “witches” or “herbalists” would mix superfoods, herbs, spices, teas, etc. to create a special drink, hot or cold, to address an illness or cure an ailment.
Holiday Rally Day #3: Morning Meditation
I’ve fallen in love…
…with my morning meditation!
Every morning I wake up, get my lemon water and then head back to my bedroom for my morning meditation.
Women’s Pop-Up Holiday Rally!
